Ger to Go head to Mongolia June 27th - July 24th

This year a team of dedicated enthusiastic friends and family will join me on the trip of a lifetime...to Urvukhangai in Central Mongolia to build and/or renovate a house for a family in need under the auspices of "Habitat for Humanity Australia" the world’s No.1 not-for-profit provider of housing for low income families in need.

Today, Habitat for Humanity works in thousands of communities and has built, rehabilitated and repaired well over 400,000 homes, sheltering more than 2 million people.

Currently, every 7 minutes a family has a better home and a better life thanks to Habitat for Humanity, its volunteers and partners.

Habitat for Humanity doesn’t just provide a roof, also helps to address water supply and sanitation issues and in some communities provide health, education – like teaching financial literacy and livelihood assistance.

Habitat for Humanity doesn't give hand-outs, but requires the families to put in 500 hours of labour and a deposit, which Habitat oversees with financial assistance and expertise as the no-profit loan is repaid.
As the loan is recycled, it helps to finance even more homes for people in need. So with Habitat your dollar goes further.

We are looking forward to an exciting adventure in Mongolia, that will not only strengthen family and friendship ties but which will also have a positive outcome for a lucky family and hopefully change their lives forever for the better.

And so...I really hope that you will be able to support us with a generous donation to support the work of Habitat and contribute towards our individual donation requirement.
