Frontier Land

Mongolia has 2.8M people with half the population living in the capital city Ulaanbaatar. Where the countryside is Mongolia's yin, with pristine countryside, Ulaanbaatar is definitely its yang.

There is progress everywhere and the city feels very much like frontier land as apartments are being built and roads are either poorly constructed or just dirt tracks.



Mix that with dilapidated buildings from the past, us having to jump puddles, and dodge traffic which speed up as you cross the road and you have a real cacophony of sounds and activity! What a city!
